I've tried multiple times to keep up an LJ, but have lost interest with every attempt. With this possibly ill-fated attempt, I will try to jot down whatever I feel like I might want to read again. Recording the various inane (or otherwise) things that go on in my life might be useful at some point.

Well... the semester is over and though my grades were satisfactory given my particular circumstances, I feel this semester sucked hard. The last Spring semester was quite horrible in comparison, but that was then. I found out at the 11th hour that I'll not be graduating with an Associates degree because I didn't seek out proper counseling. I am short 1 3 credit elective. What a bite in the ass that news was. I plan on staying in academia for the remainder of my life but this little setback prohibits me from attending Buffalo State's archaeology field school. This summer's site was an excavation of Fort Niagara's officer's barracks. The dig is taking place during a battle reenactment which makes me extra disappointed. Next year's dig will be at a Native American site on Grand Island. Still cool as hell but not as cool as digging to the background of a War of 1812 battle reenactment.

A good question I have to contemplate is how personal I want to make this LJ.
